How the band is made.
The record
TWDB Submitted Driller's Reports (SDR)
Every well filed with the state within the search radius, with its location, completion depth, water level and yield as the driller reported them. Filed, not verified: positions are often approximate, and the report says so on every record.
Ranking
Most similar first
Comparables are ranked by distance, elevation, aquifer, completion date and the completeness of their record. The report shows the ranking and the similarity score, so you can see which wells the band stands on and discount the ones you would.
The band
A depth range, not a depth
The completion depths of the best comparables give the band, and the water levels give where water was struck. Yield is stated only where enough wells reported one. Every figure carries its confidence, capped at moderate until the Texas model is validated against held-out wells.
The parcel
Ranked zones
Where the parcel is large enough for it to matter, the report ranks zones on it by the comparables nearest each, and says when the record cannot tell them apart.

Not a quote
The cost sensitivity is built from the depth band and published regional rates. Your price is yours.

Lithology appears when a comparable's record carries it, quoted from that record, never interpolated.
Not a pump test
